We have been in and out of the Vet Office several times now for weeks trying to find out what is wrong with our 12 year old Cockapoo. He started vomiting in the middle of the night, so we took him in early the next day and we where told he was severely dehydrated, had a distended belly and some sort of blockage to his intenstines for an enlarged liver. He had to stay at the Vet's a few days, was put on an antibiotic along with a bland diet and sent home. He was fine for about 5 days and we ended up back at the Vet's when he started throwing up again. Same story, severely dehydrated with an enlarged liver. They did a biopsy of his liver and everything came back normal, no cancer. Spent 2 days in the Vet's, but on more antibiotics along with a bland diet. Vet isn't sure what is wrong...any suggestions on where to go from here They just called me and said to keep him on a bland diet (rice and hamburger), give him 4 small meals a day and call if anything changes. We are at a loss ?!?
